How Super MOXI Works
Super MOXI uses a fractionated, non-ablative 1927 nm laser to create thousands of controlled microchannels within the skin while leaving surrounding tissue intact.
These microscopic treatment zones activate the skin’s natural renewal response, encouraging damaged surface cells to shed and fresher-looking skin to emerge. Over time, skin appears brighter, smoother and more even.
Because the treatment is non-ablative, it renews the skin without removing the entire surface layer. This helps deliver visible improvement with significantly less recovery than more aggressive ablative resurfacing procedures.
What to Expect
Before treatment, your provider will assess your skin, discuss your concerns and select the appropriate energy and density settings.
A light Super MOXI facial treatment can take less than five minutes once the skin is prepared. Larger areas and more intensive treatments will take longer.
Depending on the selected treatment intensity, topical numbing cream may not be necessary for lighter treatments. Numbing may be recommended for more advanced correction. During treatment, you may feel warmth and a prickling or snapping sensation as the handpiece passes over your skin.
Cooling may be used to keep you comfortable throughout the procedure.
Recovery depends on the intensity of your treatment.
Following a lighter treatment, you may experience mild warmth or redness that resolves relatively quickly. More corrective treatments may produce redness, mild swelling and a dry or sandpaper-like texture for several days.
Tiny darkened dots called MENDs may become visible as treated pigment rises to the surface. These will naturally shed as the skin renews itself. They should not be picked or scrubbed away.
